Harry Styles breaks concert world record

(CNN, KYMA) - Harry Styles has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest run of concerts at London's Wembley Stadium: 12 sold-out nights.

At his final show Saturday, Styles was presented with a certificate marking the honor by the Guinness World Record adjudicator, in front of 80,000 fans.

An emotional Styles thanked his former "One Direction" bandmates, saying he wouldn't be here without them.

In late August, he begins a 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The previous World Record holder at Wembley was Coldplay after they performed 10-nights last year.
