‘The Late Show’ prepares for final week on-air

(CNN, KYMA) - Stephen Colbert is gearing up to say goodbye to "The Late Show" as the guests for the show's final week have been announced.

According to a press release, Monday's show is "The Worst of the Late Show," and CBS says this is not a clip show.

On Tuesday, the guests will be Jon Stewart and Steven Spielberg. There will also be a special performance from David Byrne and Colbert.

Viewers tuning in Wednesday will see Colbert taking the "Colbert Questionert," as well as a performance by Bruce Springsteen.

The final guests will for Thursday's series finale have not been announced.

CBS cited financial pressure when it canceled the highly-rated program last year.
