Tracking cool temperatures and breezy for Friday

A large low pressure system will hangout over California, keeping our temperatures cooler than normal and breezy for the rest of the week. Temperatures are expected to warm back up next week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Another cool day across the Desert Southwest. Temperatures are trending in the mid and upper 80s again today, which is cooler than normal.

Going into dinner time, tracking a clear and cool evening. Perfect and comfortable temperatures to go out to dinner to celebrate National Hamburger Day!

Winds are much lighter compared to the last few evenings, but still breezy. More westerly winds will keep Imperial County breezy through tonight where gusts could peak between 25-30 MPH.

Even though winds will be lighter here in Yuma County, gusts could still reach about 20 MPH.

A Wind Advisory is issued for 7 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. Thursday morning due to stronger westerly winds and gusts up to 55 MPH.

A large low pressure system will hangout over California, keeping out temperatures 10-20 degrees cooler than normal. It will also still breezy for the rest of the week, but nothing too gusty.

Tracking and sunny and dry conditions for the next several days. Temperatures will also stay in the 80s through Friday. Temperatures will begin to warm up next week to kick off the month of June.

Also, get your cameras ready, it will be full moon on Sunday to wrap up the month of May.
