Yuma unemployment rate increases by 2% since 2024

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The latest unemployment numbers are out for Yuma County, and they show more locals are unemployed.

The Office of Economic Opportunity reports Yuma's unemployment rate in February came in at 11%.

That's an increase of more than 2% compared to February of last year when the rate was 8.9%.

These numbers are not seasonally adjusted.
