Agents arrest four migrants attempting to pass checkpoint, stolen gun found

INDIO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Border Patrol agents arrested four migrants, including one who was in possession of a gun.

At about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, a Honda Civic was referred to secondary inspection at the Highway 111 checkpoint.

The five people in the car were asked for their citizenship status and agents four of them did not have the proper documentation to be in the United States.

Agents then found a handgun behind the driver seat that was reported stolen.
