Arizona @ Work hosting career expo for upcoming graduates

The event is looking to provide students with the opportunity to network with local employers.

YUMA, Ariz. (KECY, KYMA) - An upcoming event could help you pick your future career.

Tomorrow 'Arizona @ Work' is holding a career expo at the MLK Jr. Youth Center in Yuma.

Students will get to network with local employers and schools.

The professionals expected to attend include those with the military, truck driving schools, and real estate agents.

The event starts at 11 a.m. and the Arizona Department of Corrections will also have a K9 demonstration at noon.

The organizer of the expo says while the event is geared toward those just starting their careers, but anyone is welcome.

“It’s not only for youth a seniors. This is for the whole community, we as adults come and say we’re ready for a career change, this is an opportunity to see what’s out there," Norma Ortiz said.
