Local game store opens second location on 4th Avenue

Public invited to sit down and play some games with locals

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A new game store is opening on 4th Avenue next to Del Sol Market and the public is invited to join in to play some card games.

Rudy's Phenomenal Games now has a second location, marking the first time a local game or comic store is opening when originating in Yuma.

"If it wasn't for the community, this wouldn't have happened. The amount of support that we have, that's why we have a second location, and that feeling is awesome," expressed game store owner Rudy Uriostegui.

The store has card and board game-related hobby items from Pokémon cards to board games and even books from a local artist.

Anyone interested can also use the place as a hangout spot to sit down and chat with locals while playing with trading cards or anything else available.

"My friends want me to open a shop. I can open a shop, and we all gather together in an A/C-cooled place, and now two A/C-cooled places," said Uriostegui when asked what inspired him to open a store.

Rudy's Phenomenal Games new location is at 1665 South 4th Avenue next to Del Sol Market and Big Lots, with a previous location at 3939 South 3E, Suite 109 across MCAS Yuma.
