IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The race for Imperial County Sheriff is reaching its peak as the two candidates use every second of their final day of campaigning.

Undersheriff Fred Miramontes says he has been working day and night to get his message out to voters.

"As a last-minute item just reaching out to my committee who are reaching out to citizens and different communities, we are at the stretch now," he said.
