AWC English Department hosts first digital storyfest

KYMA

Festival will be held at main campus in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The first ever Digital storytelling festival for AWC has been put together by two local English professors.

The event will take place next month and is open to anyone who would like to participate.

It was created as a way to get people involved in telling stories on campus and in their community.

"We are looking for stories that have to do with the sciences and technology stories that have to do about us and our identities. Stories of the news, stories on your job, or stories on anything that you can think of."

The festival is accepting any form of digital writing including audio, video and photo.

The deadline to submit is April 14 at midnight.
