Heavy police presence reported in Yuma neighborhood

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We're receiving numerous reports of heavy police presence in the vicinity of 14th Avenue and 11th Street in Yuma.

The Yuma Police Department (YPD) tells News 11's Cody Lee officers and state troopers are serving a felony warrant in the area. YPD could offer no further details on the suspect.

Viewers report seeing a helicopter hovering over the neighborhood. We've learned it is a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) helicopter, but we cannot confirm how, or if, DHS is connected to this case.
