UPDATE: Border Patrol find 73-year-old woman dead near her home
UPDATE (5:05 P.M.)
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said the 73-year-old woman from Somerton who was reported missing was found dead near her home Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities said Lorraine Mumma was found a quarter of a mile away from her home with the help of Border Patrol.
Next of kin have been notified.

A 73-year-old woman from Somerton was reported missing Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said a reporting party stated Lorraine Mumma was last seen Monday, June 25 at her home.
Mumma is described as 5’03” tall, approximately 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, tan pants, and a straw hat. Mumma is unable to verbally communicate due to a medical condition.
Authorities have made efforts to locate Mumma but have been unsuccessful.
