He was at El Centro Courthouse on Tuesday morning.
Jackson wants to retract his guilty plea to animal cruelty from an incident regarding his horse being found without food or water two years ago. Jackson claims he pled guilty without completely understanding the consequences of that plea. He’s asking the appellate court to let him change that appeal and go to a jury trial.
He’s scheduled back in court on July 25.
