Pioneer in children’s health care

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in downtown Brawley for the opening of the new Pioneers Memorial Children’s Health Center.

Located in the heart of the city, the hospital gives more options and access to pediatric care in the region. Pioneers officials said they are moving the needle forward in providing healthcare.

“I think what this says to the people of the Imperial Valley, and to the people of Brawley i s that Pioneers has a true commitment to the community. And we’ve niched out the pediatric population as just another example of how we’re trying to show our commitment to the community,” said Rosanna Pritting , a nurse practitioner at the health center.

The new health center will have eleven exam rooms and provide services such as checkups and vaccines among the numerous medical services.
