Topic of the Day: Travel Ban sent to Supreme Court

It started as a campaign promise from then Presidential-Candidate Donald J. Trump who told supporters that if elected he would ban all Muslims from entering the United States. Once taking office the President wasted no time in erected his Travel Ban, which was met with heavy resistance by the Federal Courts.

Now, the decision falls on the lands highest court the Supreme Court and reports are showing that conservative justices may be leaning in the President’s favor. Now, as it stands this is the third version of the President’s Travel Ban and if allowed would bypass congress’s power on immigration and affect more than 150 million travelers from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.
