JamieMcGalliard wins Yuma County Teacher of the Year

The 30th annual Yuma County Teacher of the Year banquet was held Tuesday evening.

The Education Foundation of Yuma County along with the Yuma Rotary Club recognized educators and supporters of education at the Yuma Civic Center.

The winner this year was Jamie McGalliard from Gila Ridge High School.

128 teachers were nominated in Yuma County for the award.

In attendance were former Teacher of the Year recipients and members of the community.
