Rural Metro Fire responds to large metal structure fire
Rural Metro Fire Department received a call after a passerby reported a large metal structure fire in the 12,000 block of Avenue 4E on Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:57 p.m.
The report came in as multiple structures but Rural Metro arrived on the scene and reported one very large structure fire and later upgraded the assignment.
The crew began to fight the fire keeping it contained to the building, knowing the possibility that the wind could help the fire spread.
After gaining entrance into the shed they found several vehicles on fire and were able to contain it quickly.
No injuries have been reported at this time and the cause of the fire is unknown.
