UPDATE ( 8:10 A.M.)

Two separate collisions have been reported according to The Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS said the first was a semi that rolled over on eastbound I-10 at MP 79, a second semi was able to come to a complete stop. While stopped, a third semi struck the second semi killing the driver of the third semi. That collision caused the second semi to then hit the first semi causing injuries to the driver of the second driver.

DPS said this is reported to be a multi-vehicle fatality collision.

Traffic is being taken off at MP45 and routed through Salome back to I-10. Again, they anticipate an extended closure due to the amount of damage and debris.
