The memory of the Mesa Heights fire is still fresh in the minds of many. The City of Yuma started the new year with a suspected arson fire of a new housing complex and as closed circuit cameras revealed the fire was no accident.

The fire fueled by high winds spread to nearby homes where families used garden hoses to protect their property. Now, police are reporting that three of the four people suspected of being responsible are now behind bars. Of the three in custody, two of them are minors one 17 and the other 16; because they are minors their identities are being withheld.

The 17 year old is suspected of being instrumental in starting the fire while his younger suspected accomplice is suspected of tampering with evidence. Last week the oldest of the the three faced a judge and was read his charges; now the question is will they all face the same fate.

Do you think the two suspected arsonists should be tried as adults?
