Events at the Library, Week of April 16th
Here is a list of events happening at the Yuma County Libraries for the week of April 16th:
Water Balloon Drop
Celebrate Spring and Science at the Somerton Library! On Wednesday, April 18th, tweens ages 8-12 are invited to invent contraptions to protect a water balloon at 1:30 p.m. When your creation is complete, we’ll put it to the test! There is no charge to attend.

Sensory Storytime & Yoga
On Saturday, April 21st, the Foothills Library will host Sensory Storytime and Sensory Yoga for children who are on the autism spectrum or have special needs. Children of all ages welcome. Please call (928) 342-1640 to register.
Sensory Storytime — 10:30 a.m.
Enjoy stories, music, songs, and movement activities.
Sensory Yoga — 1:00 p.m.
Learn ways to calm and focusing techniques through movement.

Credit & Debit Management
At some time in your life, you will most likely use credit to make an important purchase. On Saturday, April 21st, learn more about credit and how to use it wisely at 2:30 p.m. at the Main Library. All ages welcome. There is no charge to attend.
This workshop is offered in conjunction with Thinking Money, a traveling exhibition designed to teach tweens, teens and the adults in their lives about money. The interactive, all-ages exhibit will be at the Main Library, 2951 S 21st Drive, through May 5th. The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours, Monday-Thursday 9AM-9PM; Friday-Saturday 9AM-5PM.
