Yuma County hosts Employee Appreciation Event celebrating continuous hard work

Wednesday was a special day for Yuma County employees as the Employee Appreciation Event took place at the Yuma Civic Center.

Employees were celebrated and nominated for different categories such as Yuma County Employee of the Year, Superior Court Employee of the Year, and Safety Excellence Award.

Listed below are the 2017 winners:

2017 Yuma County Employee of the Year: Nancy Ngai, County Administration

2017 Yuma County Superior Court Employee of the Year: Bobby Guzman, Juvenile Justice Center

2017 Yuma County Safety Excellence Award: Ramon Salcido, Public Works
