Police arrest suspect in armed robbery
A man was arrested after he allegedly took a cell phone and a speaker at knife point from another man.
Officers say, Angel Felix Aguilar, 26, is suspected of pulling a knife on a man and demanding the man to give up his cell phone and a speaker, Wednesday morning.
Aguilar took off, the victim called 911 and eventually lost sight of Aguilar.
An officer who was on his way to work heard dispatch call the robbery and responded to the call.
The officer saw Aguilar hiding behind a fence in the 700 block of Adams Avenue. The officer walked up to Aguilar and ordered him to put his hands in the air. Instead, Aguilar fled on foot.
Officers were able to find and arrest Aguilar shortly after without incident.
The stolen property was recovered and returned to the victim.
