YPG Test Center under new command

Yuma Proving Ground held a change-of-command ceremony as Lt. Col. James DeBoer handed over the reigns of command of their test center to his successor to Lt. Col. Timothy Matthews.

Matthews last served at Fort Meade, Maryland. He has a Masters Degree and has a strong background in the military testing world, according to YPG officials.

For three years DeBoer served as commander of the Yuma Test Center.
