Border Patrol agents arrested six men after car lights on fire

U.S. Border Patrol arrested six men who led agents on a vehicle pursuit from Campo to El Centro.

9:06 p.m.

Agents say the group of men failed to stop in Campo and led them on a pursuit down the curvy roads eastbound Interstate 8.

Eventually the driver of the car exited on Fourth Avenue in El Centro and ran into a cement median. The car then lit on fire at the Fourth Avenue Social Services Plaza.

6:01 p.m.

Six men were taken into custody by Border Patrol agents after their car lit on fire.

The incident happened in area of Fourth Street and Wake Avenue.

Firefighters were able to put the flames out quickly.
