Woman is arrested for 300 pounds of marijuana
A Mexican woman was arrested after U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) found 300 pounds of marijuana in the car she was driving.
Officers say they a K-9 officer alerted her Chevy van at the Raul Hector Castro port in Douglas, Arizona on Wednesday.
Officers seized multiple pot bundles estimated to have street value of $155,000.
The 30-year-old woman was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
