One illegal immigrant was arrested after he was found with almost 80 pounds of marijuana, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Agents at the Brian A. Terry Border Patrol Station said they received an anonymous call Wednesday regarding suspicious activity near Naco, Ariz. They received an anonymous report of an individual seen picking up a bundle of suspected narcotics and running into an abandoned trailer. When agents arrived at the location to investigate, they found one Mexican national illegally present in the United States and two bundles of marijuana.

The Mexican national was arrested and the marijuana seized. The case is being processed in accordance with Tucson Sector guidelines.

Often times, Border Patrol agents rely on the community for help. The anonymous caller in this case helped prevent almost 80 pounds of marijuana from reaching the community.
