PET TALK

We are bringing back a fan favorite. PET TALK is meant to bring awareness to animals at our locals shelters that are in desperate need of finding their forever homes. We will feature a dog and cat each week. First up is Bubba. Bubba is a black and white male kitten. He is super loving and playful and will keep you entertained all day. He will sit in your lap as well as run circles around the house. He’s truly the best of both worlds. An active cat that would enjoy a large or small family as long as he is played with and getting attention. Due to being surrendered by his previous owners, he is use to being around people and does well inside the home. Next up, we have Lady Cordelia. Cordelia is a charcoal colored American Pit bull mix. She is about 5 years in age and weighs around 50 pounds. She is quite a stunning girl. She was picked up in Somerton as a stray and has been with the Humane Society of Yuma since December of last year. A lot of the time, the shelter gets so many animals that the sweetest ones get over looked so we thought it was time for Miss Cordelia to have her close up. She is a loving dog that gets along with other animals. She knows commands and is very good on a leash. She also loves getting treats and just being by your side. Her love of the outdoors is evident, so if you do have a backyard for her to roam in she would love that. All the dogs at the Humane Society of Yuma are either neutered or spayed along with being vaccinated and micro-chipped. Same goes with the cats… some of which are not micro-chipped yet. If you are interested in either Bubba or Cordelia, you can call the HSOY at (928) 782-1621 or visit their website at www.hsoyuma.com. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. For weekly updates on PET TALK and pictures of these lovable animals…you can visit Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @MADISONKECY. PET TALK airs every Monday at 5pm on KYMA and 9pm on FOX 9.
