Sen. Mark Kelly leads press conference to call for legislative fix for Dreamers

WASHINGTON (KYMA) - Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) is leading a press conference in Washington, D.C. Tuesday.

According to a press release, the press conference is to call for a permanent legislative fix for Dreamers "as DACA processing delays, detentions, and deportation threats leave hundreds of thousands unable to work and live safely in the country they call home."

Sens. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) and Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) are joining Sen. Kelly, along with Jen Rickling, the mother-in-law of Annie Ramos, the wife of a U.S. soldier whom Kelly helped secure her release from immigration detention last month.
