Trump suspends international student visas
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Harvard University is asking a court to stop the Trump Administration's latest attempt to block international students from the school.
The court filing came less than 24 hours after President Donald Trump signed a proclamation suspending international visas for new Harvard students.
The order will also direct the Secretary of State to consider revoking visas for current students who meet the proclamation's criteria.
This is the White House's latest escalation to block foreigners from enrolling in this elite university. Trump Administration has accused Harvard of having "concerning foreign ties" and failure to provide sufficient information about foreign students.
