House of Representatives votes on a budget blueprint

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - The House of Representatives could vote on a budget blueprint as Republicans in support of it say it will not cut Medicaid or Social Security assistance for qualified beneficiaries.

Democrats say that they are worried about some aspects of these programs.

The plan already has the green light from the Senate. If the House passes it, it'll be likely for the foundation for how the U.S. spends money for the next few years.

Democrats say they are worried about what this could mean for Medicaid. The plan asks that the House Energy and Commerce Committee come up with around $880 billion worth of cuts.

Analysts say that it's hard to do it without affecting Medicaid, and Republicans say that they do not want to eliminate that program, but they do want to refine it.
