Gov. Ducey signs new legislation laws, goes into effect Saturday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Effective Saturday, September 24, Governor Doug Ducey's signed 387 bills goes into effect.

Accordingly, in a press release, the bills prioritizes K-12 education, public safety, water security, and infrastructure.

In addition, the bills also cover veterans, health care and others.

Furthermore, the effective bills cap off eight years of collaborations with lawmakers to position Arizona as a land of opportunity.

“This year’s legislative session is sure to be one to remember  — and not only because of the historic bipartisan budget agreement. We took record revenues and sent a clear message about our state’s future: we’re ready, and we’re unstoppable," Governor Ducey spoke.
