One injured in crash on Avenue C

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is investigating a crash which left one person injured.

According to a press release, the crash happened in the area of Avenue C, near the Central Drain, before 6:40 a.m. Saturday.

YPD says a 20-year-old woman was driving a Honda Civic southbound on Avenue C when a 36-year-old man, riding his bicycle southbound, veered from the bike lane and into the Honda Civic.

As a result, the bicyclist was taken to Onvida Health and was later flown to a Phoenix area hospital due to his injuries.

As of Sunday, the bicyclist is listed in stable condition, according to YPD
