Oil prices fall more than 5%

The price of oil fell more than 5 percent on Tuesday.

It settled at 91 dollars and 64 cents a barrel... To mark its lowest price in five weeks.

Experts believe the decline was fueled by worries over the world economy

But overall... The price is trending down, with prices in the u-s 30 percent lower since spiking at more than 130 dollars per barrel in march.

That's translating to lower prices at gas stations for consumers.

The national average is now 3 dollars and 84 cents per gallon.

Prices at the pump have been falling for 77 days in a row.
