Woman without a way to get down, rescued from border wall

US Customs and Border Protection

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A woman was rescued from standing on top of the U.S./ Mexico border wall, according to Border Patrol agents.

The picture was uploaded to social media on Wednesday but the rescue happened on Tuesday morning, as written in the post.

U.S. Border Patrol Yuma Sector says a 48-year-old woman was seen on the border wall west of the San Luis, Arizona Port of Entry.

She was unable to get down from the 18-foot-tall wall so the San Luis Fire Department was called in.

However, the fire truck was unable to fit in between the walls.

A lift was then used to rescue the woman.
