Gowan Science Academy receives threat from Wisconsin

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Gowan Science Academy received a possible threat and the Yuma Police Department was sent to investigate.

YPD was told of the threat on the evening of March 12 but no specific date or time of when the threat would occur was detailed.

Police were able to find the threat coming from a 15-year-old in Wisconsin who has a known juvenile history.

Wisconsin law enforcement took over the rest of the case and the suspect said he was joking.
