Hundreds more Southwest flights canceled Monday
(KYMA, KECY) - Another day of cancellations for Southwest.
The airline has canceled 337 flights so far on Monday.
That amounts to one in every 10 flights, according to flight tracking website Flightaware.
This comes after a frustrating few days for travelers.
Southwest canceled more than 2,000 flights over the weekend -- leaving passengers, planes, and crews stranded across the country.
The company says the scheduling mess started Friday with weather in Florida and air traffic control issues in the region.
Southwest says because it is flying fewer flights right now because recovering from operational challenges takes longer than usual.
