Epic Monster Truck Nitro Tour kicks off at the Yuma County Fairgrounds

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Monster Truck Nitro Tour is here to take over, putting on one of Yuma's most epic competitions. 

These car-crushing giants weigh about 10,000 pounds.

The event is full of racing, wheelie contests, quad wars and freestyle. 

If you want to feel the thunder, the first event kicks off Friday at 7:30 p.m. There will be a pit party event before the show starting at 6 p.m.

Ticket holders can take photos with the monster trucks and even go for a ride on-board.

Events will also run Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with a matinée at 1:30 p.m. The pit party will start at noon and 6 p.m.

Tickets are $23 for adults and $15 for kids ages three to 12. 

Kids two and under are free.

Tickets can be purchased here with an advance discount. 

Kids can get a free toy at the matinée show on Saturday, while supplies last. 

You don't want to miss this wild ride at the Yuma County Fairgrounds.
