First Alert Forecast: Excessive heat!

An excessive heat warning is in effect for portions of western Imperial County

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - The warmest temperatures so far this year are expected through Saturday, with Friday looking like the hottest day. Afternoon highs will reach 104 to 107 degrees across south- central Arizona and up to 107 to 112 degrees in southeast California. An excessive heat warning is in effect for western Imperial County until Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. MST.
