Update: Rural Metro douses house fire in Yuma

No word yet on cause of the blaze

UPDATE: 5:15 PM

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A close call for occupants of a home on 14th Place near Pacific Avenue. Their house caught fire early Thursday afternoon.

Rural Metro fire crews got called to the scene just before one. They arrived to find smoke billowing from a single story house. Firefighters doused the flames before they could spread to neighboring houses.

Witnesses tell KYMA.com all the occupants escaped safely. There are no reports of injuries.

Rural Metro still hasn't determined how the fire started.
