Pet Talk: Meet Iris

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - It's time to meet our Pet of the Week.

Meet Iris!

Iris is a six-year-old spayed female husky who weighs 75 pounds and has been at HSOY for almost 200 days.

Iris loves to be scratched and petted all over her body, giving affection and walking everywhere to explore new environments.

In her Dog's Day Out reports, handlers have described her as loving, active and always wanting to sit or lie down next to you.

Iris is well behaved on car rides and will wait for you to open the car door.

She's an expert leash walker, good with other dogs and she loves to swim in the river.

Iris' ideal home would be a family that has no cats, can take her on outdoor adventures that involve lots of walking and will spoil her with all the butt scratches in the world.

As Pet of the Week, her adoption fee is sponsored!

Come visit Iris at the Humane Society of Yuma located at 4050 S. Avenue 4 1/2 E, or call (928) 782-1621.
