Yuma man accused of alleged fraud scheme formally charged

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The man who the Yuma Police Department (YPD) said stole over $1 million in mechanical parts from a local business is now facing formal charges.

Alfredo Bedolla, 40, is facing three felony counts, including trafficking in stolen property, theft and fraudulent schemes.

Police said the alleged fraud happened from 2024 through the middle of this year.

YPD detectives found almost $3 million was spent without authorization, and the items were then sold at a greatly reduced price on eBay.

Bedolla is being held at the Yuma County Detention Center on a bond of $200,000.
