All three Arizona Western fall teams ranked in NJCAA top 20

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Arizona Western College's fall athletic programs continue to make their mark on the national stage, with all three Matadors teams ranked among the top 20 in the latest NJCAA national rankings.

Arizona Western volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer are each receiving national recognition as their seasons continue.

The Matadors volleyball team entered the Week 2 national rankings at No. 18 after opening the season with a perfect 10-0 record. The ranking marked the program's highest national ranking since November 2024.

Arizona Western has since improved to 11-0.

On the soccer field, the Arizona Western men's team continued its climb in the national rankings, checking in at No. 10 in the country. The Matadors moved up three spots after previously being ranked No. 13.

Meanwhile, Arizona Western women's soccer remained among the nation's elite, holding steady at No. 2 in the country.

The ranking continues a strong stretch of national recognition for the women's program, which has once again established itself among the premier teams in junior college soccer.

With all three fall programs ranked inside the top 20, Arizona Western continues to showcase its success across multiple sports on the national stage.
