Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ release date moves up

(NBC, KYMA) - Sean "Diddy" Combs will be released from prison a little bit sooner than expected.

The rapper is serving a 50-month sentence for charges related to prostitution, and now is set for release on April 25, 2028.

Combs, 56, was initially set for release a month later, and then the date was moved to June. The most recent change which shaved off two months was noted in Bureau of Prison records.

Combs is at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution, which is a low security prison in New Jersey.

His representatives say he has not violated any prison rules, and remains sober and self-disciplined.
