Temps improving for new week
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Residents in Yuma and Imperial Counties can expect another stretch of warm and quiet weather this week, with no rain in sight.
High temperatures will hover around the upper 80s to near 90 degrees through midweek, before easing slightly into the mid-80s by the weekend. Overnight lows will stay comfortable, dipping into the mid-50s to low 60s.
Skies will remain mostly clear, with just a few high clouds drifting through early in the week. Light winds will follow typical daily patterns, calm in the morning, with gentle afternoon breezes.
The region continues to sit under a ridge of high pressure, keeping the atmosphere dry and stable. Even as a weak system moves across the Pacific Northwest later in the week, it's not expected to bring any moisture to the desert southwest.
Fire weather conditions will stay manageable, though humidity levels will remain low, generally between 10% and 20% during the day.
Overall, it's a calm, sunny start to November for the Desert Southwest.
