Yuma Catholic outlasts Imperial in five-set thriller

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks pulled out a five-set victory over the Imperial Tigers Tuesday night, winning their home non-conference match 3-2.

Set scores went back and forth all evening: 25-20, 24-26, 20-25, 25-17, 15-9.

Yuma Catholic came through when it mattered most, taking control in the decisive fifth set to stay unbeaten on the season.

The Shamrocks are now 3-0 overall, including 2-0 on the road and 1-0 at home. Imperial dropped to 6-7 with the loss but showed fight by grabbing the second and third sets.
