Boys & Girls Club of Imperial Valley receives grant donation from JCPenney

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Boys & Girls Club of Imperial Valley (BGCIV) received a check donation from JCPenney Saturday.

The check presentation took place at JCPenney, located at the Imperial Valley Mall in El Centro, at 9:00 a.m.

The club says they received $6,642 as to highlight JCPenney's support for BGCIV as well as to help "continue providing enriching, safe, and fun opportunities" for their club members throughout the summer.

In addition, JCPenney hosted a shopping event where club members received a $50 gift card and a special discount coupon.

The event lasted until 10:00 a.m.
