California recycling center’s roof collapses

SAN JOSE, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Firefighters in San Jose responded to a roof collapse on Friday.

According to the San Jose Fire Department (SJFD), crews were working at the scene of "a collapse" at a recycling center.

Officials say all employees at the recycling center have been accounted for, but the fire department didn't know if anyone else was inside the structure.

An initial search "was clear," according to SJFD, which also added that drones and search dogs were being called to the scene.

It is unclear what caused the roof to collapse at this time.
