Staying warm for now with cooler and stronger winds later this week

We have one more day of the 90s before the 80s return on Friday. I am also tracking breezy and windy conditions Thursday-Friday.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Happy Wednesday! This morning we experienced above-average low temperatures. Setting a new record for the warmest low temperature for the day in El Centro, and Yuma tied with the warmest low of 65° for the day.

High pressure will weaken across the region over the next couple of days allowing temperatures to gradually fall to readings closer to our seasonal averages by this weekend into next week.

However, I am tracking breezy to windy conditions Thursday and Friday.

Breezy and windy conditions will move in Thursday and Friday with strong west winds and gusts between 20-35 MPH. Stronger winds will favor toward the west.

We have one more day of the 90s on Thursday before the 80s return on Friday.

Also, we will have additional clouds, but dry conditions will persist and we will have stronger winds Thursday and into the weekend to wrap up the month of March.
