Children’s Festival of the Arts returns to Yuma in April

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local event will be held downtown for those interested in the arts.
The 32nd Children's Festival of the Arts returns to downtown Yuma on April 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The public is invited to the free event, which will feature at least 50 arts and crafts booths offering a variety of hands-on projects.
There will also be live performances from local dance studios and music groups.
Food vendors are planned to be at the event.
“Children’s Festival of the Arts is a time we take to recognize our youth’s artistic talent along with the hard work our art educators put in year-round,” said Arts Program Supervisor Cassandra Contreras. “It’s an event that brings our community together, old and young, to be creative, think outside the box, and to enjoy each other’s company by creating art.”
