Scholarship opportunity for YUHSD students

The winner will receive a $500 scholarship check and have their broadcast air on TV

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local contracting company is giving Yuma Union High School students a scholarship opportunity where students can showcase their filming skills.

Master Finishes is inviting students to participate in a commercial scholarship contest that highlights the company.

Students are to create a 30 second commercial and the winner will receive a $500 scholarship check and have their broadcast air on TV.

The deadline for submissions is March 13th.

For those who wish to participate will be provided a time to observe Master Finishes on a project site where they can get footage for the commercial.

The final commercial product will be judged by a panel of four judges and winners are to be announced the following week after submissions.
