200,000+Honda minivans under recall
Wiring problem could spark fires
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Honda is recalling more than 200,000 minivans, because their wiring poses a fire hazard.
The recall covers 2018 to 2020 Odyssey EXL, Touring, and Elite minivans.
Honda says a wiring harness may have been damaged during manufacturing. That damage could cause a short circuit, which could spark a fire.
So far, the car maker has received three reports of fires. None resulted in injury.
Honda will contact affected owners by mail. It says it will contact consumers by mid-March.
